A report highlights the successes and impact of the EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme (EURES TMS) in helping young adults realize their goals
A comprehensive report drafted by Eurodesk and the University of Cagliari, in collaboration with the EURES Italy National Coordination Office sheds light on the transformative effects of the EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme (EURES TMS) project, which ran between 2021 and 2023. The study, conducted in collaboration with participants, highlights the project’s success in providing practical support, fostering personal development, and creating a strong sense of community among its beneficiaries.
Rome Focus Group and online interviews
A part of this report includes a focus group held in Rome in November 2022, where 15 participants from diverse countries gathered to share their experiences. Additionally, seven one-to-one online interviews were conducted, enabling a deep dive into the personal journeys of these young individuals.
Practical support
Participants expressed gratitude for the project’s practical support, which included financial assistance for relocating abroad and a comprehensive support network offering language classes. These resources proved instrumental in overcoming the logistical and language barriers that often deter young adults from pursuing their dreams in foreign countries.
