If you attend language courses to improve your knowledge of one or more of the official languages of your host country, the EURES TMS will reimburse you
for up to a maximum of € 2.200.

  • right after the pre-selection, in your country
  • after you have been hired in another EU Member State, Norway or Iceland. In this case, keep in mind that in order to be eligible for reimbursement your course should start after two months from the contract starting date

Within the maximum budget foreseen, you can apply for reimbursement for up to 2 different courses provided that the second course is different by level or concerns a different official language from the previous one.

You cannot ask for a language course reimbursement when the same benefit (a language course for the same level) is offered to you from your employer as part of an integration programme.

There are 2 ways to be reimbursed by the EURES TMS project: check the most suitable for you!

  1. Single installment: you will be reimbursed the full amount (which you will have already paid) right after you complete the course
  2. Two installments:
    • I tranche, advance payment (up to 50%), can be claimed before you finish the training course, by submitting copy of the first invoice or receipt
    • II tranche, balance payment, will be provided to you at the end of your course, after completion of the course with documentary evidence (invoice or receipt of balance, training certificate)
