On March 22, 2023, the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, Malta, will host an event dedicated to the topic of fair and quality professional mobility for workers in Europe promoted by the EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme (TMS), a project funded by the European Programme for Employment and Social Innovation and led by ANPAL, the EURES National Coordination Office Italy.
The event is taking place within a framework of bilateral cooperation between the National Coordination Offices and in partnership with General Workers Union, the contact point for EURES TMS. The meeting will open with institutional greetings from Fabrizio Romano, Ambassador of Italy, and Josef Bugeja, General Secretary of General Workers Union. Afterward, there will be speeches from Giliane Mallia (EURES Malta), who will talk about the services offered by EURES Malta; Germana Monaldi (EURES Italy – ANPAL), who will provide an overview of the mission and objectives of the EURES TMS project; and Riccardo Travaglini (EURES TMS Adviser – GWU), who will discuss the benefits that EURES TMS provides to employers and job seekers.
The morning will conclude with speeches from Clyde Caruana, Minister for Finance and Employment of Malta, and Victor Carachi, President of General Workers Union.
