A new Targeted Mobility Scheme project launched in March 2021 and will end in March 2023: a way to support and promote job mobility through financial benefits and tailored services.

The event “READY TO GO ON 2021 – EURES TMS EDITION”, organized by the EURES Italy Network, launch the new project EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme (EURES TMS), funded by the European Program for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI). Jobseekers and employers had the opportunity to gather all the information and learn about the services, fees and benefits offered by EURES TMS.

The EURES TMS project is coordinated by EURES National Coordination Office in Italy – Anpal, with 13 European (+ Norway and Iceland) partners: EURES Bulgaria, EURES Cyprus, EURES France, EURES Portugal, EURES Romania, EURES Spain, EURES Netherlands, CLL Centre de Languages – BE, Dian – GR, Eurodesk Italy, Giacomo Brodolini Foundation, Città metropolitana Roma Capitale / Capitale Lavoro, Sapienza University of Rome, and several associated organizations: EURES Croatia, EURES Malta, Unioncamere e Language Lab – IT.

The event started with a presentation by the National Coordinator of EURES Italy Catia Mastracci who pointed out how this new program will stand as a real support for “fair, professional, voluntary and circular mobility by providing personalized services and direct financial benefits”.

An ambitious project, which is aimed at people who wish to find a job, traineeship or apprenticeship in an EU Member State, Iceland or Norway, aged at least 18, European citizens, legally resident or long-term resident in a EU member State, Iceland and Norway.

The financial benefits include:

  • allowances for the job interview
  • recognition of qualification
  • support for a language course
  • relocation to another country as well as relocation support for family members
  • subsistence allowance for trainees and apprentices
  • supplementary trip allowance (special needs)

A large set of services are also aimed at employers, including SMEs, who want to find motivated and qualified workers, trainees or apprentices.

During the day a presentation carried out both in Italian and English concerning EURES TMS was given, along with several Q&A sessions, 13 presentations on living & working conditions in 13 countries (Italy, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Luxembourg, Germany, Slovakia, Sweden and Portugal). A day full of information and incentives for both jobseekers and employers.

18 European countries, 1500 active users from all over Europe attended the event; 74 companies provided 1490 vacancies in different fields.
